Pelicans' All-Star Anthony Davis remains loyal to the struggling franchise and has told international reporters during a conference call that he plans to stay put.
When asked about speculation that he may be traded, Davis said, "I don't plan on leaving, so make sure you write that down."
"I like our team we have now," he added.
Davis is in the first year of a 5-year, $127 million contract with the Pelicans that runs through the 2020-2021 season.
He is having his best season since joining the league, averaging 27.9 points and 12.1 rebounds per game.
