One man was shot and two others were robbed on Sunday night in a home invasion in the 400 block of Oaklawn Drive in Metairie.
Authorities say a 29-year-old man was shot shortly after he arrived to visit friends at the home around 8:30 p.m. He noticed the suspects approaching the residence and was shot multiple times as he knocked on the door to warn those inside.
The three perpetrators, wearing hoodies and masks, made their way inside the home and forced two men to kneel and empty their pockets. They fled after they heard a knock at the door.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has released a photo of one of the three suspects in the case and has classified the crime as an aggravated burglary.
