The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 6700 block of Bundy Road in New Orleans East.
At around 11:30 p.m on Monday night,, Seventh District officers responded to calls of shots fired in the area and found a woman lying outside an apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.
The name of the woman will be released by the Coroner's office.
