LSU baseball fans used to the "Geaux Clear" policy will do the same if they travel to the SEC Baseball Tournament later this month.
The conference announced Tuesday that a clear bag policy will be part of enhanced security measures at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium this year. The measures will also be in place for the inaugural SEC Baseball FanFest being held next door at the Finley Center.
The SEC is strongly encouraging fans to not bring bags to the tournament. But if they need to, here's what will be allowed:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose
The SEC Baseball Tournament will be held May 23-28.
