Curfew hours are going to be strictly enforced in St. Charles Parish.
The Sheriff says he's deploying extra deputies to monitor curfew hours for juveniles. He's hoping this will help eliminate some of the parish's growing problems with young criminals.
Kids who get picked up will be taken to the sheriff's office, receive a court date and have their parents pick them up.
Children 16-years-old and younger must be with a parent or guardian between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
