Members of the Louisiana House want to make sure no kid in the state is denied lunch because their families can't pay for it.
A bill aimed at ending lunch shaming passed the House 71-to-28 last night.
School districts would be banned under the bill from placing wristbands on students who are behind on their lunch payments. Districts also wouldn't be allowed to require the student to work for their meal.
