Sunday Shooting Spree By Lone Man Leaves Five Injured

A man arrested by New Orleans police late Sunday afternoon is believed responsible for the shooting and wounding of at least five people, one of them a cop.

A sixth person is dead and an investigation is underway to determine if the same man was responsible.

Charged in the violent crime spree, that included a carjacking, is 25-year-old Charles Williams.

The victim of the deadly shooting was found inside a vehicle involved in a crash on Elysian Fields. Williams was arrested after flipping a stolen car while being chased by police.
