A federal lawsuit is now making its way through the court system in New Orleans that alleges the operators of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

In the legal action filed Thursday, Shelby Bailey, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, says he's had trouble accessing seating in the dome without an unobstructed view of the field.

Bailey, a lifelong Saints fan and season ticket holder for more than three decades, alleges that renovations made in 2011 eliminated non-obstructed accessible ADA seating on the field.
