JPSO Investigators Work To Identify Suspected Walmart Arsonist

Jefferson Parish authorities are hoping the public can help identify an arson suspect whose images were captured on security cameras.

The fire in question broke out last Wednesday morning at the Walmart on Lapalco Boulevard in Marrero.

The man is suspected of setting fire to Halloween merchandise before running out of the store to get into a car and leave the scene.

The blaze was extinguished within minutes with no major damage and no injuries.
