The federal money laundering trial over funds sent to the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra is being moved to next year.

Officials said yesterday the trial date was being pushed back to January 21st, 2020 which marks the fourth time the case has been delayed.

Grammy-winning trumpeter Irvin Mayfield and his business partner Ronald Markham are accused of funneling $1.3 million meant for the public library to the orchestra.

Mayfield and Markham were originally indicted back in December 2017.
