Louisiana's unemployment rate is at its lowest in the last 11 years.

According to the Louisiana Workforce Commission, the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remains at 4.3% for the fifth straight month, marking the lowest since April 2008.

The industries showing the largest gains are education and health services.

The LWC cites private sector opportunities as the catalyst behind the state's continued low unemployment rate.
