New Orleans Man Who Wore Diaper, Posed As Disabled Brother Changes Plea

Gavel In Front Of Row Of Law Books

The New Orleans man who posed as his fictional disabled brother and wore a diaper is changing his plea in the case.

According to court documents, Rutlege Deas changed his plea to not guilty after admitting to hiring four young women as babysitters to change his adult diapers under false pretenses.

Deas' public defender told the court she was under the impression that a guilty plea would get Deas probation only, but no jail time.

The district attorney on the case told the court there was never a deal on the table.

The victims in the case are asking the judge for the maximum sentence for Deas.
