Rape charges are being dropped against a Los Angeles actor who had been accused of sexually abusing a three-year-old boy while living in Metairie.
On Friday, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office refused the charges against Jean-Pierre Guy Gillain four months after his arrest due to insufficient evidence.
According to court documents, Gillain was booked on first-degree rape and aggravated crime against nature after investigating allegations that he molested the victim over the course of about a year while Gillain was living at a residence in Metairie beginning in 2015.
Gillain was in the New Orleans area at the time while his former wife, actress Zoe McLellan, worked on NCIS: New Orleans.
