The Louisiana Department of Revenue is extending the deadline for all state taxes to Friday.
LDR added that they will not apply penalties or interest to any applicable returns or payments submitted by the new due date.
Officials say they decided to stretch the deadline after a state computer network connectivity problem made several LDR web applications, including the income tax filing application, inaccessible.
Taxpayers who need more time to file these returns can request an extension at revenue.louisiana.gov/extensions.
