Hundreds of thousands of people are still without power in Southeast Louisiana.

Entergy New Orleans says it could be longer than a week before they're able to get the lights back on.

According to reports, the storm left 75% of the city in the dark after high winds downed hundreds of power poles in the area.

Officials say it may take a couple of days to get full damage assessments, but once that's done, they will provide customers with estimated restoration times.

In the meantime, Entergy is urging residents to stay away from downed power lines.
