City officials and the New Orleans Police Department are teaming up to take precautions in order to deal with large crowds before Mardi Gras.

At a press conference, Communications Director Beau Tidwell said the police superintendent and himself are creating a plan regarding enforcement of crowds leading up to Carnival.
