The New Orleans Pelicans are now the owners of the tenth overall pick in the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft.
During the NBA's Draft Lottery last night, the Pelicans' envelope was opened in tenth place immediately after the Charlotte Hornets were unveiled at eleven.
Pelicans vice president of basketball operations Swin Cash caused a meme-worthy moment during the announcement by making a not impressed expression like Olympic star McKayla Maroney in 2012.
The full NBA draft will be held on July 29 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
