St. Tammany Residents To Vote On Casino This Fall

St. Tammany Parish may soon welcome a casino complex.

Parish officials say residents will be allowed to vote this fall to decide whether or not to move forward with the construction project.

According to reports, developers promise the multi-million-dollar casino will bring jobs and money to St. Tammany Parish.

So far, many residents are opposed to the casino believing that it will only enable gambling addiction and human trafficking.

Parish residents will have the opportunity to vote on the project on November 13.
