Officials are investigating after a shipment of thousands of fake eyelashes were seized from the New Orleans International Airport.
U.S. Customs say the shipment was supposed to go to a beauty supply shop in New Orleans and included four boxes of fake eyelashes, totaling 3,000 pairs of eyelashes. The large package was ultimately busted as it violated FDA regulations.
Officials say the sender failed to mention the name and place of business of the manufacturer or the quantity of contents.
