Tulane University and the University of New Orleans are announcing new mask mandates due to rising COVID-19 cases in the state.
Officials at the schools confirmed over the weekend they will require students to wear masks on campus indoors regardless of vaccination status.
The announcement comes following recent guidelines on mask-wearing from Gov. John Bel Edwards and the Louisiana Department of Health.
