The Bourbon Street Extravaganza concert at Southern Decadence is now canceled because of monkeypox concerns.
The coronavirus pandemic caused the concert to be called off for the past two years.
Southern Decadence over Labor Day weekend is one of the nation's biggest LGBTQ events, usually attracting a crowd of up to 20-thousand.
The Louisiana Department of Health stated earlier this month that it was working with Southern Decadence organizers to get people vaccinated ahead of time.
