A suspect is in custody for a chase early Sunday that resulted in the death of two Baton Rouge police officers in a helicopter crash.

West Baton Rouge Parish deputies arrested Deandre Bessye for aggravated flight from an officer, obstruction of a highway of commerce, and two counts of manslaughter.

In a preliminary report released Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration said the helicopter went down after its tail rotor hit a tree.
