STEM NOLA Receives $2M Federal Grant From Congressman Troy Carter

STEM NOLA has a large federal grant coming its way.

Congressman Troy Carter stopped by the organization's annual Rocket Day on Saturday at the Lakefront Arena with a $2 million check.

Carter said the federal funding will support the center's youth education program.

STEM NOLA aims to engage up to 20,000 K-12 kids every year with hands-on training in science, technology, engineering and math.
