A Kenner man is in custody for reportedly trying to sell a stolen motorcycle back to the man he stole it from.

Late last month, Jeffrey Ramos-Sotelo had arranged to sell the bike he'd stolen to a man he contacted through Facebook Marketplace in Kenner.

The buyer was the motorcycle's owner, who told the Kenner police the meeting was to take place on West Esplanade near Loyola Drive.

Ramos-Sotelo fled from the police, who arrested him for flight from officers, possession of stolen property, and traffic violations.
