More information is being released about the shooting at a shipyard in Harvey yesterday.
Authorities say the gunman, Willis Thomas, Jr., was recently fired from the yard and wanted to kill his former co-workers.
According to officers, Thomas shot and killed two men then was picked up by his mother and taken to an apartment complex, where he was killed in a shootout with law enforcement.
The victims are identified as 48-year-old Nakie Brown and 20-year-old Dustin Parrie, Jr.
