Officials are reporting the results of Operation Heat Wave, a move against narcotics and violent crime in Slidell
The FBI, DEA, and Homeland Security were involved, leading to the seizure of nearly 12 kilos of fentanyl, worth an estimated $300,000.
It's the largest fentanyl seizure in the history of St. Tammany Parish.
In addition, officers seized heroin, meth, and cocaine, plus 19 guns, most of them stolen.
Officers arrested 131 suspects. One of the arrests was for murder, arising from a fatal fentanyl overdose in Slidell.
