Defense attorneys for the four teenagers accused in the carjacking and murder of Linda Frickey want the trial date to be delayed.

In a pretrial hearing on Monday, the defense team said they need more time to test DNA evidence.

They filed motions to postpone the November 20th trial, stating they couldn't possibly be ready by then.

The Louisiana Supreme Court ordered in June that the trial will begin this year and it's not clear what effect the latest defense motion will have.
