Repairs are underway in Grand Isle on a pier and bulkhead damaged by Hurricane Isaac.
Jefferson Parish officials attended a groundbreaking on Thursday for the $4 million project that's being funded by federal, state, and local sources.
The pier at the end of Oak Lane will lease space to 50 fishing boats after its scheduled completion in May, more than ten years after Isaac made landfall in 2012.
