Landry Talks Schools, Crime, Energy Industry In Inauguration Speech

Jeff Landry assumes office at noon today as Louisiana's 57th governor.

His inauguration was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today on the Capitol's front steps, but it was moved up to Sunday afternoon because of bad weather in the forecast.

In his inauguration address, Landry focused on his plans for schools, crime, and the state's energy industry.

The House ceremony will still take place at 10 a.m. today.
